The epic arcade game Gradius was produced by Konami in 1985.
Konami released 432 different machines under this trade name, starting in 1978 and this was one of the best.
Other machines made by Konami during the time period Gradius was produced included Galactic Warriors and Green Beret, the latter of which we remember playing for hours on hour home computers.
It was a side to side scrolling shoot-em-up where the player destroys waves of oncoming enemies and it was great fun.
What makes this Tee extra special for us to be able to bring you was the similarities to one of the other legendary games of this style, Scramble (one day!)
Not surprisingly our Tee inspiration and design is self explanatory as it often is with one of the most challenging moments we remember across the decades of playing this game. We hope you like it enough to wear it. It has been a team effort this one with some great people.
Now, enjoy Gradius with some hacks... You will get the hang of it and want to play it.
Side scrollers were all the rage and this one certainly lived up to expectations, even if a little expensive because it was damn hard.
