ATARI CAB MEMORIES - GRAVITATE TO GRAVITAR

So the time has come to go to the Arcade in more depth than we have to date. I mean, we have touched the surface of it and it was about time.

During the 70s, 80s and in fact 90s, time spent in the arcade continued to be one of the best things to do. So many are missing out on that experience. Bring them back!

We all have so many memories of these moments and for us it was some of the Cabinet art that was inextricably linked to the enjoyment of the games themselves and the feeling when seeing them in the Arcade.

With 2022 being an anniversary for Pong (yes, there is a Tee in the works) it was only right that this was the year to add more of the Arcade journey to the story.

And we start with Gravitar, also from 1982.

Atari Gravitar Officially Licensed Tee in Collaboration with Difuzed #KeepingTheGameAlive

Gravitar is a 1 or 2 player game with a colour X-Y video display. You did get black and white versions also which was quite cool. Colour versions had dazzling colours and unique visual effects hence the brightness in the Tee design.

In the game you would guide a space ship through three different solar systems. Each solar system consists of a home base, a death star, a red alien planet and four regular planets. Each planet has its own unique terrain to navigate through.

It was important to grab the fuel cells and destroy alien bunkers that fire shells and much more.

A player has two ways to advance to the next solar system. The first is to successfully complete a mission ("Mission Complete") on all four regular planets. The second way is to complete a mission on the red alien planet, which establishes a link into the next solar system.......

Please note, every item sold within the Seven Squared environment contributes in part to the work of games industry mental health charity Safe In Our World

Not only is this journey about sharing and wearing the moments themselves, but also what those mean to our mental health. After all, each and every one of them was part of a magical rollercoaster ride that continues to this day.

Please continue to spread the word no matter where you are.

Together we are #KeepingTheGameAlive
