OH MY GODS! ANOTHER CLASSIC JOINS THE JOURNEY

Who doesn't want to play God and who wouldn't want to be immortal?

Well the quest began in 1991 on the Amiga for us.

I mean the opening credits just got you in the mood...

"Any Man May Earn Through Skill and Courage A Single Favour"

"If He will Face the Fear of the Ancient City".

"And Slay the Four Great Guardians Who have Stolen our Citadel".

Gods was another classic from The Bitmap Brothers where the player is cast as Hercules in his quest to achieve immortality.

The game was first made for Amiga and Atari ST computers and then ported to various other platforms including SNES and more.

Like other Bitmap Brothers' games, Gods was highly praised by critics thanks to the quality graphics and music.

The enemy AI was praised - it would adapt not only to the player position, but also to their skill.

Such a cool game that Computer Gaming World in 1992 named it one of the year's top four action games for "fast and furious arcade-style action and enough exploration and puzzle-solving to raise it above the typical action crowd.

We agree entirely and hence why it is right that this is included on the journey with the Gods immortalised in our brilliantly simple but effective design.
